North Atlanta Pipes & Drums is looking for some great people & excellent musicians to join the band. As a new up and coming band our primary objective is to bring on experienced pipers and drummers. Our goal is to win the competition games we enter with the goal to be promoted to the next grade level. As such, we are therefore looking for excellent musicians that don't necessarily want to spend all their time at rehearsals. 

While it takes commitment & dedication, we understand musicians have responsibilities beyond the band. Members take personal responsibility for continuing to develop their musicianship, & then meet approximately twice a month, prepared to play, not to practice.

For those at an earlier stage in their piping or drumming lessons are apart from band rehearsals.

What you need to become a member:

· A good person with a great attitude (no prima donnas need apply).

· Experience playing the bagpipe and/or with a good foundation of the fundamentals of how to play a bagpipe.

· A commitment to the band to attend rehearsals and participate in the competitions.

· A commitment to practice on your own.

We very much realize that as much as we want to play and compete we all have other interests and responsibilities in our lives from family, church, work, & other interests. Our philosophy is that you practice on your own time, & come to rehearsals twice a month (more frequent before a competition).
